Strides for Africa has been working with Action for Ngono Basin Reforestation as our local partner since 2021. To date, our work has helped bring clean water sources to 2 locations benefitting as estimated 1,889+ people. These projects are driven by communities and have been supported by labor from community members and students.

Kyenshama Primary School

2022-2023: Rainwater Collection and Storage and Latrine Project

Co-funded with Feeding Mouths Filling Minds, this was our second project in Tanzania and endured a challenging rainy season that made the transport of materials to the region very difficult.

Murungu Primary School

2021-2022: Rainwater Collection and Storage and Latrine Project

Co-funded with Feeding Mouths Filling Minds, this was our first project in Tanzania. The new latrine provided much improved privacy for female students.
